In Greek mythology, the goddess Iris is often represented by a rainbow. How appropriate then, that the final drawing in the neon collection is inspired by the beautiful African Iris that grows in my front yard. Since moving to Florida it’s been one of my favorite plants and it felt appropriate to end my newest endeavor in this way.
