Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to order from your website?

Not necessarily, if you’re local to Sarasota and would like to schedule a studio visit, you may send me an e-mail to work out the details. I’m also frequently at local events in Sarasota. Follow along on my social media accounts for in-person opportunities.

What is your shipping policy?

Domestic

Currently, all domestic shipping is included in the cost of the artwork.

International

Please e-mail me for a quote on international shipping.

Should there be a discrepancy, or you’d like some extra love and care for a piece of artwork I am happy to provide that with an additional fee.

If there are problems with the order, please send me an e-mail so I can make it right.

What if my order is damaged during shipping?

I want you to love your purchase. If the item comes damaged, I will gladly send you a replacement. I may require photo evidence (mainly for insurance purposes).

If it’s an original artwork, they are one-of-a-kind. I am happy to try to re-create the original. Still, if I am unable to for whatever reason, I will give a full refund after sufficient photo evidence is supplied (again for insurance).

What about other returns?

This is a one-lady show over here and I try very hard to make your experience shopping with me as wonderful as possible. If you have questions about your order, please reach out. I accept returns if they are in the original packaging and condition that it was received. You are responsible for paying return shipping costs.

What is the difference between a print and an original?

An original artwork is one of a kind and includes elements that can’t be reproduced fully in a print. Even a high-quality print doesn’t always include the same layer and texture available in an original. Artists may make reproductions of their artwork, but the original has more value since it is the only one that exists. Purchasing artwork is an investment and can be considered an asset. Prints are a great way to buy a piece of artwork that you love for a little less or even to buy artwork in a different size than what the original has been created in. This is why originals are often much more expensive than the print.

Do you offer framing options?

I highly recommend framing your artwork. I sometimes offer framed artwork as an option in the listing and I can accommodate some custom framing. However, I highly recommend you talk to a local framing shop for pricing to help support your local community.

Do you do commissions?

Yes! If you’re looking to have me do something extra special please keep in mind that I do not copy other artists’ work for a cheaper price. All artwork will be done in my style, it’s helpful to find something you already like that I’ve done as a reference. You can e-mail me with any inquiries.

Who owns the artwork?

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any artwork I create unless the collector has also purchased the full, or partial rights to the artwork. Please reach out to discuss purchasing rights in addition to the original work. The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I prefer to be contacted beforehand for permission and must be credited when it’s shared. When you purchase an original artwork you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business.
